Wow, who can believe it is October already? The last month has just flown by. Here at Wise Owl Tuition, we have been extremely busy. We have had 3 new tutors come on board, and another is to start next week. Several new families have joined us as well. A big welcome to everyone.

Term 3 has been our most successful term yet, and I am so pleased with all the student's progress. It has been wonderful to get some great feedback from parents and schools about how they feel their children have improved and some fantastic NAPLAN results have been sent through to me too.

In other news; last week I was back at IPL radio, on The Jess Address. We discussed winning the RKCC Start Up Business Award, Tutoring, Storybook STEM, and R U OK? Day. You can watch the interview below.

Upcoming Dates

End-of-term reports (for those students who have been with us for the entire term) will be emailed out over the school holidays as we finalise our comments.

Term 4 will be reduced to a 9-week term due to the Christmas holidays. Our Term will start on Saturday the 8th of October (The last weekend of the holidays).

Put this in your calendar: There will be a Christmas Party on Sunday the 4th of December in the afternoon.

We Won!

You might not know but Wise Owl Tuition was nominated in the Rockingham and Kwinana Chamber of Commerce Awards in the Start-Up category. Once nominated, Emily had to write an application on why Wise Owl Tuition should win. The application was extremely lengthy and Emily was asked to detail why she started Wise Owl Tuition, her business plan, and her vision and mission moving forward.

She was so pleased that Wise Owl Tuition was chosen as the winner on the night. The judges commented on the quality of the application and the sound business she has created in such a short time. Hear more about the awards in the video below!
